The Temple of One is actually the factory that produces the nanite fluid that feeds the core. It is a massive church like structure that pours the liquid out into a massive river that flows across half of the globe then pours into the Great Pit. After 2000 years this River has become known as the River of Life as many know it is feeding the Earth and keeping humanity alive.
The Temple is also used by Jessica Lemoy or " Mother " to enforce the cult she has formed based around worshiping Dr. James as The Father and her as The Mother. Often you will find massive worship ceremonies being held here with Mother always in attendance to enjoy the worship.
The Temple top sits above the clouds and the base is approximately 22 Km across.
